Chetna Chandrakala is the Vice President of Finance for GRIPA (Greater Rochester Independent Practice Association, Inc.), collaboration between Rochester General Hospital and Independent Physicians, engaged in improving the quality and efficiency of health care. Chetna has more than 20 years of experience in the field of Finance, Accounting, HR and Compliance across different countries and industries ranging from manufacturing, trading, power plants, insurance and healthcare. Her educational accomplishments and certifications include Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Executive Management Course from University of Chicago, Bachelors of Law, Member of Indian Institute of Chartered Accountants, Cost Accountants and Company Secretaries. In 1996, India’s premier bi-weekly business magazine recognized Chetna as a `Young Manager to Watch’. Chetna is very passionate about Community Service. For the past ten years she has served the Pittsford PTSA ($100K organization covering 9 schools) in different capacities including Chair, Treasurer and Website management. She is currently the Chair of Professional Forum, a Committee under India Community Center of Rochester, Treasure for Hindu Temple of Rochester and Board & Finance member of the Mental Health Association of Rochester. DIAL training and mentoring has helped Chetna with her community service goals. As a DIAL Board member, Chetna looks forward to help further the goals of this organization leveraging the intellectual capital of the Indian American community and to help foster the cultural connects between the world’s largest democracies.
