Nagappa Ravindra, P.E. is president of Ravi Engineering & Land Surveying, P.C., a consulting engineering firm in Rochester, N.Y. Ravi graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India with a B.S. in Civil Engineering, 1980 and from Syracuse University with a M.S. in Structural Engineering in 1982. He is a member of numerous professional associations including the American Institute of Steel Construction, American Concrete Institute and the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC). He served on the board of ACEC New York and currently a board member of Flower City Habitat for Humanity.. In 1999, Ravi was awarded the New Principal of the Year award from the Consulting Engineers Council of New York State. He has been on the DIAL board for the last two years. In addition, he has been involved with Habitat for Humanity, and other non-profit organizations.
