Varahan Ganeshan

Varahan Ganesan is a Senior Director of IT for CooperVision. He graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Regional Engineering College, Tiruchirapalli and got his MBA from the University of Rochester's Simon School of Business. Varahan lives in Fairport with his wife and two daughters. He has been an active participant of several Indian community related activities for the past 20 years and has served at the Board of the India Community Center of Rochester. Varahan has also been active member of the Classical Music and Dance society of the ICC and has served as its Chair from 2006 till 2009. He joined the DIAL board in 2012 and served as its Chair in 2014 and 2015. He has been serving on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Club of Rochester since 2014 and has actively volunteered and participated in fundraising activities for the club for the past 5 years.
